I am Maia, an illustrator and designer. I paint life with all its colorful ways of being, with its lights and shades. As an artist, I believe I am called to bring beauty and joy to the human heart.

I have an MA in illustration from MICA (Baltimore) and a BFA in Theater Arts from USAL (Buenos Aires). My past work experience bounces between graphic design, set decoration and fine arts, all of which had taught me how to use many different materials. My illustrations are mostly digital now, media that I find fascinating and useful, but my love for getting my hands messy has not changed.

My clients include Scholastic, The Marshall Project, Washington City Paper, American Philanthropic, The Wine Collective, Disney Latin America, Molinos Rio de La Plata, National Ministry of Education of Argentina, Mater Dei Hospital.
